Our Story

The Broadcast industry became Willie's main focus.  He attended various Broadcast vocational schools to learn about the industry.

Willie was granted a diploma from Ron Bailie and Columbia school of Broadcast in 1975, where he studied radio communications,

copy writing, editing and television video production as well as obtaining an FCC 1st class radio license. He studied under the

instructions of radio personalities such as Ray Kicker and Gregg Connors, only later to becoming a classroom instructor himself,

after working several years as a radio announcer. 1250 AM KYAC stands out the most because it was the only black owned facility

in the state of Washington and where Willie really horned his skills with the alias radio air name "Ray Curry".

In 1982 Willie or Ray Curry, launched a half hour syndicated radio show called "Radio Record Review". The program featured many

national and local artists weekly for two years. Three local markets were successfully secured.

The goal of WCI is to play a major role in the contribution to the business environment of Washington State. To grow the business of WCI

and help in the establishment of community relations.
